When my sister was a baby, before I was born, my parents lived in a cottage that came with my Dad's job as a butcher. It was in Outwood I believe. Aparently the front bedroom was haunted. Whenever my cat went in the room it got spooked and ran out hissing. My parents (kind people really) let my sister sleep in there.

Some nights she would wake up screaming, which isn't unusual for a child so young. But other nights my mum would come into the room and find her half out of her cot. During the night something would lift her out of her cot, unbolt her door from thr OUTSIDE, take her through two more bolted doors and take her down stairs and she'd be watching TV in the morning. My mum thought originally that she'd been somehow just climbing out of her cot, so she bolted the doors. The bolts were right at the top of the door so there's no way she could've reached them. Also she tried unlugging the TV but it always managed to plug itself back in. Spooky.
