I think the reason people think of the unknown as bad or evil is because most of us like to think were in control.If we come across something we know nothing about basically we dont know what to expect and we suddenly lose that control.Therefor as we no longerfeel this control we become scared,weary sometimes angry.As these are negative resposes we now tend to look at the unknown in a similar way.(the negative being bad and evil)
