Subject: Is the Rapture Mid-Trib ???

I wish you would teach me about the Rapture and sequence of End Time Events because i'm going through some rough times, and sometimes the hope of Jesus returning to get us is the only thing i have to steady me.

I was raised to believe in a pre-tribulation Rapture. But after reading through the Bible, i have come to believe in a mid-tribulation rapture because of the following reasons:

1. Daniel 12:1,2,7 - seems to say the rapture will happen after "time, times, and an half" (after 3 & 1/2 years). But WHEN is the starting point ?

2. Revelation 13:5 - says Anti-christ will only reign for 42 months (3 & 1/2 years). I've always been taught we would not be here when Anti-christ is ruling and these verses make me think so:

(Isaiah 26:19 KJV) "Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead."

(Isaiah 26:20 KJV) "Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast."

(Isaiah 26:21 KJV) "For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain."

Thank you for sharing what insight the LORD has given you. It's encouraging for weary travelers to see some kind of mile marker on our journey to Zion.
