The translators vary on this passage but it is clear in Greek. It is the men who are the ones who will never come to acknowledge the truth. These are the kind of men who play mind games with women. The NIV says “6They are the kind who worm their way into homes”. “Worm” is the key word here. The way it’s translated does look confusing but it’s the men in this case, not the women.
