Chijiresusu half-grunted, a sour smirk spreading across her maw. Her silver plume flicked idly, bright orbs shifting about, silently watching. She spotted no ravens-she had kept a good watch on the trees ever since Lethas' ravens had attacked the pup during that fateful day when two Balkar died. Who knew how intelligent they were, and whether they could communicate as well as Drekkas' did.

"You could say that. I managed to catch Demons' attention with the Temple-he's still lounging about there."

She snorted, distaste evident within her steel-blue orbs. There were no gods, so she didn't understand why Demon felt so compelled to stay in wolfbanes' temple, worshipping something that couldn't be detected with varg senses. Perhaps he thought the Varg could grant great power? Power hungry, her brother was. It was sad...A low sigh escapes her, pushing down the instinct to melt into her shadows-best to...protect Brechin, at least for a moment. Curious, she took a step forward, low voice sounding harshly loud in the silence between the captains' ragged breaths.

"What ails you brute that causes you such..suffering?"

It was simple curiosity, there was no true motive behind her words. Perhaps he was cursed by some angry being? or perhaps it was hereditary, and couldn't have been avoided. Nevertheless, she didn't truly expect an answer-it was completely possible that Brechin would ignore her. As irritating as it was, it happened sometimes.
