Letha nodded, listening to offered words. Graz nibbled at Letha's ear as he was watched, going back to preen a feather or two again. All the while he knew he was watched.
"Yes, no one ever has answers, do they?"
Her voice was soft, mildly distant, but still there in her question. She understood what he meant by his own family, but to her, his story was not quite the same.
"Yes, that is true. However, there is a slight difference between us: you do not know much about your parents, and I know nothing at all."
A slight grin was offered, to make sure she made no offence in what she said. She didn't mean to be rude, it wasn't her way unless she felt really provoked.
An ebon ear flicked, eyes narrowed inquiringly as she tilted her head to the side with interest, noting the pause in the male's words. Graz's attention, too had been snagged, stopping his grooming to raise his own skull, peering at Brechin with a single eye.
"What do you mean...you just might be able to?"
