Adverted her gaze, auds lashed towards the smaller femme's sounds. She said not a word for the moment, anger brewing within her skull. The female may have been a higher rank....one whom had been there longer, but she stood for nothing....excluding this.
Something had struck her, and she dipped her head, orbs closing, maw half opening to emit words within the ethereal whisper that contained them.
"I do. However. You have me wrong."
Tail lashed to curled about her form, fur flattening to perhaps lessen her appearance. She wouldn't have enjoyed it. But passiveness seemed to dominate the female as she continued.
"I am no kerl."
She let loose a soft snicker, head shaking to swiftly rid herself of it's presence. She wanted to be serious. Silver dipped foreleg bent lightly, causing her form to fall forward in a mock bow, crania lowered even further, nose slightly brushing the ground. She would not move into submissive role, with the whole rolling over thing.
Permitting herself to do so would be a disgrace to her pathetic existance. No. She said nothing for mere moments, before at last speaking again.
"I'm merely one who wishes to belong."
Auds flattened cleanly against her head, silver hued oculars opening slightly to gaze at the females forepaws.
"And perhaps make a few friends."
She said none more. Friends was a rather weak, ugly word in her sense. But, having the wolf refer to her as a kerl enflared her senses, and she grew angered, surpressing it as she tensed, taut muscles evident to all those whom cared to look close enough.
