Nikira didn't follow through with the attack the moment Brechin had let go of her paw, jaws quickly retreating and her frame backing up as well. She trembled profusely, auds clamped so tightly to her skull she could barely hear. Enough fighting. No more, please...Her orbs were veiled, though the fear was still there, visible to prying orbs. She jumped slightly as her paw hit a puddle of bloody slush, and she quickly moved to get away from it as it thickened eerily from the cold.

Nikira flinched as he darted at her side, a constricted yelp managing to wrench itself free of her tightening throat. Crimson stood out from her coat, gravity pulling it down, to drip into the snow where it hardened into a red icicle. She jumped to the side, whirling to face him uncertainly, head lowered to protect herself. She did not attack, frightened though somehow keeping herself from panic so far. Her frame lowered to him, orbs wide and diverted though she remained calm. She knew he would eventually lose is calm and attack her fully, frustrated with her timidness-many had done so, Demon included. She waited for that moment, anger rising ever-so-slightly because he wouldn't leave her be, he wouldn't let her remain the timid varg she was.
