Although the man was wearing the peace T-shirt and was asked by the mall owners to leave probably because he was wearing the shirt, he was not arrested for wearing the shirt. The cops did their job and arrested the man for failing to leave private property as he was asked to do. That is a big difference, blame the mall owners for asking him to leave if you wish, but don't fall into that trap of blaming the police for doing something they did not do.
I would have to assume that the mall, whether or rightly or wrongly, worried that the men wearing their shirts was going to escalate into the 20 + member group that they ahd asked to leave not long back. Again, you may disagree with the mall owners but it is their right to decide who is on their property and it is the polices job to remove unwanted people from said premises regardless of the reason.
Having said that, a private company voicing its opinion on the subject matter on the content on a piece of clothing is nothing compred to the government organized destruction of many other countries. Anti War demonstrators protest all the time all over the country and have not had their heads beaten in or been run over by tanks or even bothered. Some of them even shout for cops to fall off fire escapes and beat police horses because they are very peaceful people.
I guess I could be ashamed of your hatred or misguided views of America or at least your inability to go beyond a headline and read about what really occured.
