I don't agree with every vote the Leahy has cast, but when I look at how he votes as a whole, I like him.

Just because he voted to ban this particular procedure, does not mean that he is a lousy Senator. In fact, he knows that most Vermonters approve of a ban ... and he had to weigh this into his overall decision as to vote for or against this.

If you want to preserve a woman's right to choose ... vote for Leahy ... a vote against him is a vote for the Republican candidate ... and the longer the Republicans remain in power, the more ultra-conservative anti-choice judges the Republicans will push through AND the more anti-abortion laws will be pushed through congress.
