I am also concerned about parental notification prior to a young teen having an abortion. We are all aware that in some circumstances, such as incest, there is a larger issue. I am also concerned that the same school nurse who cannot give your young teen an aspirin can have your child arrested for having an aspirin. There is no easy answer to this dilemma but my hat's off to Fred for daring to bring the topic up. Abortion is not a simple procedure, there are lasting emotional and psychological impacts that a young teen is not equipped to deal with. I think there should be serious criminal penalties for anyone who interferes with or corrupts a child. Even if it's Planned Parenthood.
