WHO WANTS TO SEE AMERICAN CITIZENS DISARMED?

I say there are 2 kinds of people in America today who do not want private honest citizens to “keep and bear arms” - thugs on the streets and thugs in our government.

GUN CONTROL THE KEY TO GENOCIDE

In “Lethal Laws - Gun Control is the Key to Genocide,” published by Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership (JPFO) in 1994, J. Simkin, A. Zelman and A. Rice examine the major 20rh Century genocides. It was revealed that gun registration leads to gun control, which leads to gun confiscation of all firearms from private citizens, which leads to genocide of target populations. (1)

Briefly, here we see a study of the 20th Century’s human toll of gun control in the numbers of murdered, defenseless, innocent civilians liquidated by genocidal governments: Ottoman Turkey - 1.5 million; Soviet Union - 20 million; nazi Germany & occupied Europe - 13 million; communist China - 20 million; Guatemala - 100,000; Uganda - 300,000; Cambodia - 1 million. That makes for a total of 55.9 million DISARMED innocent civilians murdered by genocidal governments in the 20th Century (www.jpfo.org/L-laws.htm). (1)

In a more recent book, “Death by Gun Control - The Human Cost of Victim Disarmament,” published by Mazel Freedom Press, Inc in 2001, distributed by the JPFO, A. Zelman and R. Stevens offer even higher numbers of murdered civilians disarmed by genocidal governments: Ottoman Turkey - 1.5 million; Soviet Union - 20 million; nazi Germany & occupied Europe - 20 million; nationalist China - 10 million; communist China - 35 million; Guatemala - 200,000; Uganda - 300,000; communist Cambodia - 2 million; Rwanda - 800,000. That makes for a total of 89.8 million DISARMED innocent civilians murdered by genocidal governments in the 20th Century (http://www.jpfo.org/deathgc.htm). (2)

US 2ND AMENDMENT DESIGNED TO PREVENT TYRANY

In the article, “Second Amendment is Meant for People to Use Against Tyranny,“ by Bernadine Smith appearing in the Septembre, 1996 NJM Newslettre, the roots of America’s 2nd Amendment in the US Bill of Rights is studied. Mrs. Smith relies heavily on the words of Founding Father Patrick Henry, some of which I note as follows (www.njmilitia.org/sep96.htm). (3)

Patrick Henry long called for a US Bill of Rights to include our present-day 2nd Amendment, which reads, “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” (3)

Patrick Henry - in calling for a US Bill of Rights - pleaded, “My great objection to this government is that it does not leave us the means of defending our rights, or waging war against tyrants. Have we the means of resisting disciplined armies, when our only defense, the militia, is put in the hands of Congress? Your guns are gone! What resistance could be made? Will you assemble and just tell them?” (3)

Henry continued, “Even if you could assemble, how will you enforce rightful punishment when due? Oh, sir, we should have fine times, indeed, if to punish tyrants, it were only necessary to assemble the people.” (3)

Henry asked, “When did liberty ever exist when the sword and the purse were given up from the people? Unless a miracle shall interpose, no nation ever did, nor ever can, retain its liberty after the loss of the sword and the purse! Congress, by power of taxation, by the raising of an army, and by their control over the militia, have the sword in one hand and the purse in the other. Shall we be safe without either? Congress has unlimited power over both: they are entirely give up by us!” (3)

Henry concluded, “When the government removes our armaments, you will have no power, but government will have all power! The least you can do is guard this Constitution with a Bill of Rights!” (3)

Recall the very spark of the American Revolutionary War was that the British troops marching on Concord and Lexington Massachusetts to confiscate the people’s arms!

GUNS USED BY AMERICAN CITIZENS SAVE FAR MORE LIVES THAT THEY TAKE

In an article entitled, “Firearms in America: The Facts,” Dr. Martin L. Fackler, MD - “America’s most foremost forensic expert on ballistic injuries” - the Doctor states, “Firearms save many more lives than they take. This inverse relationship between the number of firearms in the hands of the public and the amount of violent crime has, in fact, been proven beyond any reasonable doubt” (www./chezjacq.com/fackler.htm). (4)

Dr. Fackler continues, “Mass shootings essentially disappear in States that pass laws allowing qualified citizens to carry concealed handguns.” (4)

This Physician further, “Gun injuries in crime (have) fallen by 40% in 5 years. This stark decline has occurred concomitantly with a constant rise in the number of firearms in the hands of the American public.” (4)

He continues, “This strongly supports the MORE GUNS LESS CRIME relationship. The steady decrease has brought the current percentage of gun violence in the US to its lowest rate in the past three to four decades.” (4)

He warns, “When anti-gun activists list the number of deaths per year from firearms, they neglect to mention that 60% of the 30,000 figure are suicides. Atleast 3/4ths of the 12,000 homicides are criminals killing other criminals in disputes over drugs, or police shooting criminals. We are left with no more than 3,000 deaths that I think most would consider truly lamentable.” (4)

Yes, it is lamentable that 30,000 Americans die yearly from firearms - keeping in mind the above breakdown of that number. Dr. Fackler states that guns in America “are used to prevent about 75 crimes for each death“ (4). Thus, we can multiply 75 x 30,000 and conclude that firearms in the hands of private citizens save 2,250,000 yearly from serious injury or death at the hands of violent criminals. Like Doctors and Nurses, firearms in America save far more lives that they take!

Dr. Fackler concludes, “We must separate, dispassionately, the clearly established facts about firearms in the USA from emotionally based opinions, exaggerations and falsehoods. Most Americans consider their right to protect themselves and their families a far more fundamental right than the 2nd Amendment.” (4)

TO CONCLUDE - IN AMERICA, MORE GUNS EQUALS LESS CRIME

So, to conclude, the facts are clear - more firearms in the hands of honest, responsible American citizens means the thugs on the streets commit less violent crimes, and the thugs in the government are less likely to assault the citizenry with storm trooper police state tactics of murder and genocide.

Take away the firearms of honest, responsible, law-abiding, everyday Americans, and we invite violent criminals to prey upon our people, a future dictator to enslave us under a total police state, and even the unthinkable horror of a future genocidal government liquidating targeted American populations. A well armed citizenry is thus our best defense against thugs in the streets and thugs in the government.

It is therefore my position to work to preserve the full 2nd Amendment Rights of all law abiding American citizens, and to oppose any laws that are contrary to our Federal & State Constitutions and The Holy Bible. The unalienable Right to self-defense is a Heaven-ordained Right - not a government-granted privilege - which is a bastion against violent crime and tyranny. When it comes to firearms in the hands of law abiding, everyday Americans, more guns equals less crime.
