Author: 4 Deer Herd
Subject: *A buck walks in with his small herd*

*A strong gallant stag walks into the clearing smelling the air. His head is 14 points and he is huge as his muscles ripple underneath. When the coast is clear he emits a bellow as a sickly doe and two fawns come out. You wonder why this huge stag has only one doe and you relise now he is quite old and would be an easy kill. The doe quickly trembles and falls to the ground in a heap. She is heaving her sides going in and out. She has constricted breathing as she lays her head down. One of her fawns tries desperatly to nurse, the weaker one. The doe only kicks it away. The other one, the strong one leaps away from the herd. The buck watches his herd carefully.*
