there is a simple explanation for this suprising fonomanon,this is that the people who put there shoes on "the big shelf" are teenagers and find that this place is less stressful than going all the way to the bathroom and the back. the door is on the way to the tv and food. the way to the bathroom were this rack is is riddled with hazards knives,slippery floors,angry dog,the smell of excrament and annoyingly placed tables.
