Having joined the debate late just when it seemed
resolved by Roger I have to throw a spanner in the
works. If the shoe is indeed a herd animal why is it
that 5 minutes after the last possible moment we
should have left for school/work we are still hunting
down the elusive partners to our footwear?Worse yet
having gone to all the trouble of taking the shoes out
of their tidy place the night before deliberately to
avoid the agony of lost shoes.They are left in the
hall for convenience no doubt but why is it they never
stay together.Or perhaps they do in everyone else's
doorway?
