I'm sorry if the Uni match report was harsh, I wasn't aware at the time three Dragons were in the Tigers team. I was just dumbfounded witnessing the game that Uni could play so badly after showing so much class against Port. I also hope that, although I mercilessly bagged the Uni defence, that readers could see my praise of Smith, Lambert and Tope was a bigger contribution to the result than the bad performance by Uni. Talking to a bewildered Gary Hart after the game brought out comments like woeful and the worst effort for 2 years. Also, if I fired up the boys with this report, then hopefully they can come out pumped up in their next game, as opposed to the unenthusiastic start on Saturday which put them two tries behind in the first five minutes - which is about the amount they fell short of.
PS. The Tigers site has Simth and Tope in the Illawarra team, and didn;t know the side hadn't been picked.
