On a recent visit to The Beaches, I bumped into the real Keith "Titsa" Lindsay. Keith, a Butchers icon from the 1950's, was at his charming best as he shared a few beers with a couple of unsuspecting patrons from out of town.
Keith was busy explaining the benefits that kicking duels could bring to the modern game as I sat myself down amongst his captive audience of 2. Keiths friendly demeanor turned to a scowl when I mentioned the scandalous use of his famous name on a Rugby League website.
The normally placid Lindsay erupted, venting his anger with a vicious barrage of shadow-boxing that would have had the great Les Darcy shaking in his boots. Titsa finally calmed down after I assured him that the mystery writer, known only as "The Mole", has since stopped using the alias as a mark of respect.
To the Mole, your regular contributions to the site are informative and entertaining so keep up the good work. Will we be seeing another batch of nominations for Thirrouls team of the century in the near future?
