Mcafferey could be just what the Butchers are looking for, with there classy lock forward filling the vacant number 7 jersey, Mcafferey could allow Beath to return to the scrum if Coach Jones wished, although Beath is looking quite at home in the number 7 in season 2003.Who will coach Jones choose, Beath who's style is very similar to the Great Joey Johns or Mcafferey who's game brings spectators to there feet with every touch and plays a off the cuff style of game , only time will tell. The thirroul commitee should however investigate the where abouts of Mcafferey and not let this quality ball player slip through there fingers a second time.
