In reply to your article on these two new recruits Bee Keeper, what you did not mention was the price they are seeking for there services.They are seeking the sort of money which was on offer during their playing days which was during the Super League War. According to a source close to both players they both cashed up big time during the War, but since then seem to have lost touch with the modern game and the current market value of players of their nature. But in saying that, they are both September footballers, meaning come september every coach wants players like these two in there side, they inspire, motivate and lead from the front, they are players you look to in tough times, Trivett gives you nothing but yards yards and more yards while Roodenrys is a tireless worker both in attack and defence.I say, give these two fine athletes what they want,it would be money well spent. Coach Jones when questioned about the possibilities of having these two on board was Quoted in saying " If Trivett and Roodenrys sign i'll be straight on the phone to my good friends Robbie and Jumbo " for people in the know, there's confidence for you.
