Just a few thoughts:
Be careful about pride when demons leave. This is what Jesus told the disciples: "In this rejoice not that the spirits are supject unto you, but rather rejoice that your names are written in heaven." Luke 10:20
When I first started out in the ministry I confronted demons with a power encounter. That always made for a big fight. Now we have a truth encounter--when the lie is uncovered and the "gospel" truth is found, the demons don't have a right to be there anymore--their cover and "perch" is blown and they leave.
I don't believe in luck, I believe in the blessing of God.
I had an interesting experience today. A person who was causing trouble said she was an angel. That didn't compute with me so I asked "Do you declare that Jesus Christ is God in the flesh? (I John 4) She said yes, so I was confused. The Spirit of God nudged me to understand that her name was Angel, she was not an angel, and then she admitted that.
