Hey Adam, I am in the process of doing the same thing. We have 2 labs that are 6mos. old. Due to work and bowhunting I'm getting a little late start, but have made progress. I have just been using a shed as there fetch toy. Like a dummy for ducks. They heve been doing really well for no longer than I've been working with them. I play fetch with them about 20 mins. every evening. I have to keep the 2 seperate, 1 at a time or they get to playing amongst themselves. But they still battle for the antler. I'm going to start "planting" antlers for them soon and see if they can locate them as I walk in the area as I would if shed hunting. My dogs do real well as long as I treat them for locating the antler. Not sure if this helps, but so far I've had fun and even if they don't bring me any sheds they are still good company as I beat the brush!
