I Love My Fans!
Welcome Friends! First of all I'd Like to thank you for your love and support. I know you've labored long and hard in order to get me back on "Days Of Our Lives." Your letters to the producers and magazines surely will have a positive effect. Because of your encouragement, I'm not giving up on my dream, to claim back 'Kimberly Brady' with all my heart and soul. I want that chance, because I owe it to you (and to myself). That has been our bond. (For some of you, over 18 years). I cherish your e-mails, your thoughts and feelings. I will cherish the opportunity to play for you again the romance, the drama, the adventure and the fun. Let's make our dreams come true! Okay Patsy your on a roll now. Sort of started out like the story I remember about the little engine that could. Remember that? I think I can! I think I can! As you slowly rumble up the hill and I know the hill seems steep at times.

Hi Patsy,

I was/am a huge 80's Days fans. For me, the Brady family
then was just a joy to watch. It felt like a real family, and the love stories were so fun to watch as well. I wish Days could get back to that kind of storytelling, with family and love stories at the center.

Patsy, when I was in High School a friend of mine and I went to the Soap Opera Digest Awards. We were seat fillers believe it or not (note to other fans---it's something I do NOT recommend doing...did it once, and that was enough, LOL). Anyway, Patsy, after the awards were over we talked to you for a little whole, and you were so kind and sweet to us. It was a pleasure to meet you.

I am excited to see your web site. I have made a very basic web site before (no expert here), so my best advice is to just have fun playing, reading and learning about it. When you get too stressed...put it aside LOL. It's easy to figure out but it takes time and a lot of patience :) Good luck!

Let's all rally round Charles when he returns. I think it will be this week! I didn't know about 3 "Days" characters leaving. Who are they? I'm always the last to know.
From what some of you have been saying.... I'm excited about the possibility of Charles returning on contract. It does sound soo good. I don't EVER contact "Days" for information. Trust me that's NOT the way it works for those of us employed there. So, if I get a call from the casting department, You will be the first to know. In the meantime....love you bunches, Patsy

The actors who have been confirmed as leaving are Jay Johnson(Phillip Kiriakis), Justin Melvey(Colin Murphy), and Lisa Rinna(Billie Reed). There are also rumors circulating that these aren't the only ones who will be leaving for whatever reason. Hopefully, as the cast is trimmed, it will allow for room for the return of the great "veterans" of the 80s and early 90s. There is a huge fan outcry these days for the return of you, Patsy, as well as Stephen Nichols and Mary Beth Evans. Could Charlie's return be the beginning of better "Days" to come???

Hi Patsy~

As I emailed you before here is what I read in last weeks Soap Opera Weekly magazine where they were discussing they casting shake ups at Days. From what they said here are the actors whose jobs appear to be safe and the ones whose jobs may not be. They even expressed how fans want to see you back on their TV's full time as well as other old faves.

Actors whose jobs are safe:
Dedire Hall
Drake Hogysten
Kristian Alfonso
Peter Reckell
Kyle Lowder- Brady- Just inked a new 3 year deal with days

Actors whose jobs may not be safe:
Lisa Rinna- As we all know
Justin Melvey- Colin- we know
Jay Johnson- Philip we know this too
Arianne Zuker- Nicole
Kevin Spiratas and Patrika Darbo- Craig and Nancy Wesley
Nadia Bjorlin- her contract does expire in May and she said she may not resign

These characters may be let go or reduced to recurring status along with the actor and actress that play your parents. The article went on to say that the writers and TPTB had also contemplated getting rid of Missy Reeves and Matt Ashford( Jack and Jen) but figured there would be to much of a fan uproar so they chose to keep them for right now.

I will let you know if I hear anymore.

Hey Shane and everyone,
I wanted to update on why the web site has been delayed.
For the last few months, my right hand has been going numb. I found out I have Carpel Tunnel Syndrome with a dying nerve. My surgery is set for Dec.3 (A week from this Tues.) So, please try to understand that typing or trying to do the simplist things with the computer becomes extremely painful. (My son is typing this for me.)The good news is the Dr. told me the nerve can be saved.
I may never have the strength of my hands back, since the nerve is severely damaged. But, we caught the problem before paralysis took over my forearm down to my hand. I love you all, and remember, It's me, Patsy Pease, and I don't go down without a fight! It'll just have to be a one handed punch for awhile. Lots of love, Patsy

What a wonderful surprise to find this site (thank you Leah). Patsy, I think you'll find that a lot of us are counting on you returning to DOOL. I have watched since 1983 (as a junior in high school) and when asked what my fave DOOL moments are, Kim and Shane's wedding is always on the top of my list. What a beautiful event. But I must tell you, I loved you as "Lacey." My mom and I used to call each other and say ... "Did you see Lacey today?" Keep us posted in reference to your return trip to Salem. We need "Our Best and Brightest"

I miss Kimberly, Shane, Patch, and Kayla. I think Days should bring you all back and could do it with a very dynamic story line.

Patch could have been working with the ISA this whole time with Shane and for years secretly been in touch with Kayla. This could explain her distance from the rest of the family.

I am always thrilled to see you return even if it is for just one day. Although I do feel cheated! I loved the story lines back when you were all on. I have been an Avid fan of Days since my sister got me watching in 6th Grade 1981.

I do not know where to write to express to Days how much we want you back can you let me know?

I think you are a phenomenal Actress or Actor if that is politically correct these days?

I have watched "Days" since I was a toddler. My mom has pictures of me kissing the screen when Kristian Alfonso would be on-screen....funny huh? I have always been a closet fan though......I cannot let my friends know I am addicted to Days...I have to keep my masculinity and all...my girlfriend teases me all the time.

This forum is a great idea. Hopefully, it will get the notice of the head honchos at "Days". I just wanted to let you know that I would love to see you and Kimberly back in Salem. Anne Howard and Ariana Chase are good actresses, but they weren't Kimberly. The only true Kimberly is you, and I hope Days gets back to the basics, clears the canvas of all these "new families and characters" and makes room for the characters we love, most notably Kimberly.

Hi Patsy,

Firstly I wanted to thank you for sharing your talent with us on �Days�. While I am a hopeless romantic and I loved all the �Kim and Shane� storylines, my favourite was when Kim became blind. In my earlier working life I was employed at Guide Dogs for the Blind and came into contact with many visually impaired people so I recognise you obviously put a great deal of work into making this storyline situation believable.

I was fortunate enough on a trip to the US (I live in Australia), in 1988 to visit the set of Days of Our Lives and meeting Charles and yourself was a big highlight of the entire tour I took.

Secondly I want to thank you sincerely for sharing parts of your personal story with us. As I share some of the situations � been there- done that - got the t-shirt. Actually I have lots of t-shirts � I collect them!!

While I have no words of wisdom for your current physical challenge, I can offer my support. I broke my leg and had a full cast for a while a couple of years ago and it took quite a few months to walk without a cane so I can fully appreciate the rehabilitation process.

Lastly it�s great to see even away from �Days� you have loyal fans, congratulations to everybody on this list � its great to join you! Hello to everyone and to Patsy � best wishes and blessings for 2003.

I just found this sight. I have been trying to find it and Debbie has sent me the link but I could never to get to it. I just wanted you to know, somehow we will get you back on Days. Kimberly and Shane were the best. I started watching Days when you first came on, and I have been a huge fan ever since. I always said that if you and Charles left I would quit watching and I did. It just wasn't the same without you. I am so glad to hear you would like to come back,I will whatever I can do to get them to realize what an asset you would be again to Days. I did watch when Charles came back but without you it just wasn't the same. Days will never be as good as it once was without you. I hope you are well after your surgery. I was also just reading one of the other e-mails that said it just wasn't the same when they recast Kimberly and that is right. I quit watching as soon as they recast. I also read that you are lucky to have us fans, but we fans are lucky to have you and this sight. No other actess/actor would do something like this for their fans. Hey Patsy:

Just wanted to say I am one of the many DAYS fans looking forward to your return on DAYS OF OUR LIVES. I remember the good old DAYS of yore when Kimberly and Shane were among soap supercouple-dom (is that even a word LOL), and I truly hope that Days will bring back the magic of Kim and Shane Donovan. Even if Kim isn't paired with the wonderful Charles Shaughnessy [Shane] I wouldn't mind seeing Kim involved with bad boy Tony DiMera. I think that would be quite a unique pairing, especially with the Brady/DiMera history. I understand that Mary Beth Evans has a recurring status on ATWT and is doing a wonderful job playing Sierra, but I think it would also be wonderful if DAYS could get her a contract their show (Stephen Nichols, too). First and foremost, I want to see you return to the set of Days because Kim has always been one of my fav characters and your talented acting skills made her such.

I read in a magazine article sometime ago (Soap Opera Update) that you were a certified kickboxer. Is that how you keep in such great shape? Do you practice any other martial arts? I ask because I am a 47 year old mother of two (college kids), and I have been practicing karate for a little over two years now. I started taking lessons soon after my youngest son went away to college since I had more time to do things for myself. In addition, I wanted to get into better shape and learn some self-defense techniques. If you don't mind me asking, when and why did you get involved in kickboxing, and do you find it to be a productive workout? Judging by how terrific you looked during your last DAYS appearance it seems to be a very productive workout. Is it Cardio-kickboxing or Contact-kickboxing?

Dear friend,
When I turned 40 I gave myself the present of being officially certified to teach cardio kickboxing at any health club in town. And I did. It was a glorious time. I never did contact, because that would've been too hard on my joints, but the constant upper body movements with my hands jabbing a little above heart level, really accelerated my heart rate.
I loved the control and execution of precise movements of the legs, building long lean muscle. Alas, my spine's disease of stenosis and kyphosis.(Thinning of the spinal cord and curvatures going the wrong way) Have taken their toll. My surgeon says, had I not been in such good shape, this disease would've taken me down a long time ago. But, I cheer you on. It's never too late to get in shape! Go for it!!!! Love, Patsy

I know there is Debbie's site Friends and Lovers (which is fablulous by the way) but I notice when searching for Patsy not many things come up is there any sites out there that I don't know about? I can't believe there are no sites for you Patsy, I would try to to a tribute page but I have no idea how to do it. You deserve the best.

Thank you so much for your support. I am building a web site called PatsyPease.net. It will serve two purposes. One and most important are the memories for my fans and me. The other, is to serve the company I sponser in our anti- aging-weight loss secrets. These are the only formulas in 25 years I found that actually work. I want to share health and happiness with everyone.
I tried a web site before, but ran into trouble trying to get PatsyPease.com, so .net is the best I could do. I'll keep you posted. love, Patsy

Hi Patsy and all of her fans!

I love coming here and reading all of the nice things the fans have to say about you. I think a website from you would be the ultimate gift to your fans. And I think you should have a fan club. Just look at the number of fans you have already?

As a long running fan of the show, I have so many favorite story lines that involved you. I think my favorite would have to be when you played Lacey. It was great to see how your acting talents could be stretched so far. And of course when you got your eyesight back after being blind was also a favorite for me.

If I were a Days writer now, I would hook you up with Tony Dimera. Boy that would be a shock for the brady household!

Anyway, as always I wish you love, health and happiness!

I agree with how great it is to come here and read these messages. I don't think it would be good to pair Kimberly with Tony though. If it was the old Tony, I think it would be great( only if Shane wasn't in town, either way) but the new Tony is too much of a jerk. Kimberly deserves a lot better than that. The ultimate would be Kim and Shane together again. But, if that is not possible they could find someone who is worthy of Kim, and Tony is definately not.

First of all.....HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY! To all my Valentines.
Second..I want to keep you updated on a chat I'll be doing Wed. Feb. 26 at 6:00 p.m. Ca. time with the Salem Gazette on Net.Scape.
Third.. look out for the "Soap Opera Weekly's" edition (coming out in the next couple months) on "Where Are They Now?" I did an hour interview with Travis Kinsey which may be of interest to you.
Included are the most recent pictures of Robert and me.
Fourth, I'm appearing in Phoenix, Arizona on March,12 and 13th at the Point South Resort. I'm now a Distribution Executive for Oasis Wellness Anti-aging and weight loss. Hey Patsy! I'm a really new fan of days but grandmother has toldd me all about the days of Kim and shane and Patch and Kayla. I'm even in a few rpgs where we've done reunions for you guys lol. I really was disappointed that Charles' return was so short. But he rocked nonetheless. I hope that all these rumors of them bringing Stephen and Mary Beth back to the canvas are ture! Since New Jersey is under two feet of snow I thought I'd come back here and see what is new. I have some great ideas for your website. Pictures is a must! I'm sure your fans would love to see pictures of you and Charles as a supercouple. An area for fan encounters would also be very nice. Even though I have never met you I'd love to hear from the many people who have. A quiz area would be fun too! Questions could be asked about the numerous story lines that you have been involved in. Perhaps a link to a fan club. I know many people are behind you and what better way to show their dedication than a fan club. I hope ths helps. I know that if you did have a fan page I'd be there all the time.

On another subject this maybe the perfect time for your return to the show. Many of the young characters are leaving and since the producers keep saying they want to go back to the core family, then they must build up the Bradys again. They can age Andrew and Jeannie if they want to include them in the teen scene. I was trying to think of a good storyline for you. Perhaps you can have your own Dear Kim column at the spectator. This would get you involved with Jack and Jennifer. Just some thoughts to think about. I think I'm going to go venture out in the snow and see if I can find my car.

Sorry I have not posted in a while. I love reading everyones comments. I love the Dear Kim at the Spectator idea. I also like the idea of bringing you back as a love interest for Tony, only secretly have you working for the ISA as a way to bring Shane back as well. Of course in classic Day's style we should not know that you are only seeing Tony as part of an ISA plan until weeks into the storyline. :)

There are just so many possibilities I don't know why they just don't go ahead and bring you back already!!! I think they owe it to us loyal fans and you have never been anything but excellent on the show.

As always miss seeing, love hearing from you on this board.

PS: I may be in Phoenix for Business in March, would love to meet you and possibly interested in the weight loss products too. I had a Kidney Transplant 8 years ago, are the products all natural??

I'm sending you the info on my weight-loss and anti-aging business. And yes, after searching 20 years, I've finally found something that actually works! Hello Patsy and friends!

I thought you might find it fun to know that Kimberly Brady is alive and well and living in a place called Waters Grove, a ficitonal town where I and a number of others write an interactive online soap opera. Most of the characters are from Days but there are a few from GH, AMC and Passions as well. It's tremendous fun! I joined in January and write Steve Johnson (yes, he's back from the dead), Bo, and Kimberly, three of my favorites from Days. Today Kim was kidnapped, I don't know yet by whom, but Shane just arrived yesterday from England so I'm sure he'll locate her! As you can tell it's all in fun. I thought perhaps you'd be pleased to know Kim may not be on Days for now but most certainly is not forgotten.

And if there are any other would-be writers out there who might like to join Waters Grove, please email me and I'll put you in touch with the lovely girl who runs the place.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for your return to Days soon!

It�s great to see that you are getting some valuable publicity � I am sure that will lead to more work for you and wider recognition. I hope it goes very well for you and your goals are achieved.

I have a question, it�s a practical question, but it may be considered a little personal. I will leave it totally up to your discretion as to whether or how you reply given that the message board may not be appropriate for yourself

I come from a similar childhood background as yourself. The main legacy I have from that is the inability to sleep well after many growing up years of forcing myself to stay awake. I remember though the interviews that you had done you mentioned a similar state of insomnia. I get the impression from one of your notes to the message board about your day-to-day life this is something you have perhaps made some inroads on. I was wondering if you had any sleeping tips or websites/books that have worked for you.

Please don�t say �get a regular bedtime� however because I work two jobs (full time secretary, part time sales) and get home quite late at night several nights a week. I have tried all the usual methods, warm milk, relaxing music, and not much helps. Because it isn�t the �usual� sleeping problems I don�t find the books I have managed to find all that helpful I call myself a binge sleeper, I go for nights with only 3-5 hours (work full days on that) and then sleep 12 hours on the weekend. Any advice you might be able to offer would be greatly appreciated.

I applaud you on your obvious success at overcoming such difficult challenges. Over the years I have taken strength from your story and your willingness to share your experiences. Please be very proud of your obvious personal achievements and I wish you every success in the future.

I guess there's no same "for sure" cure for any 2 people. I can only tell you what worked for me. I worked with one therapist and one Psychiatrist for 14 years. We found a formula that works for me. I don't know what will work for you.
First, before I lay down , I ask God to help me lie down on a pillow of faith and not a pillow of fear. I ask for guidance in letting go of any anxiety the day might have brought up. I ask that God help me do what I've not been able to do alone:
Forgive the past and let it go.
Free me from blaming others for anything.
Work out in my dreams the direction I may be of most service.

I love the support only Days fans know how to give! I'm not giving up hope. I called casting to ask one more time if they know of any openings. They can't commit to anything other than to hope I'm called in for the holiday shows. ( Which sounds very feasible)In, the meantime I have to pay the rent. So, I contacted an online casting service to work out a deal on giving me more exposure for my services in helping them with their public relations.(Using the fact, I have a recognizable face to sell their services.)I'm in training now for their job program. So, I will continue to stay in contact with each and every one of my extended family....you guys! I do consider you family, because family pulls together and stays in contact, just like we do. I hear you leah, and I want that more than anything too. The last thing I want to do is disapoint my friends. The set back my husband and I faced, with the web site, is our scanner went on strike. It came back halfway, then went on strike again.(There must be a scanner union we don't know about!) My idea is to scan in pictures of me and Days' actors. Mostly old pictures of me and Charlie. What do you think? Just memories I'd like to share with you.

I just received a huge scoop that won't be printed for the rest of the world until next week. It's from a very reliable source who must remain nameless.
Here's some good news and some bad news. Charles Shaughnessy is returning to Days for three weeks in Nov.( Sweeps Week) I'm thrilled for Charlie and for Days. But, here's the bad news...I'm not being asked to return with him.(This time)This is very difficult for me to write, because I'm grieving with disapointment. I just heard (from my source) that Days confirmed their position, this morning, on asking Mary Beth Evans and myself to rejoin Charlie.
However, here's the great news, Days head writer did indicate there has been so much interest (Thanks to all of you!) that Kim and Kayla are kept consistantly present with the other characters.(being spoken of, keeping them alive for the audience) So, a return would be easier.
However, folks that pretty much cancels out this year. Unless, for a holiday show. Sorry, it couldn't be better news, but at least Shane IS COMING BACK TO DAYS!!!! I encourage you to support Charlie 100% He deserves to be back.

Patsy, thank you so much for the update! My first reaction is to be upset that you weren�t asked back. I am upset about that, I really am. However, I�m going to look at the other positives here. Charles is going to be back for three weeks. The news is already leaking out around the Internet and the response is very positive. People are already speculating that a return of Kimberly is inevitable, and they want that. I�m happy with that response. It�s all been very positive.
I will embrace Charles return, however, it could never be complete without you!
I believe that the positive response that is being generated with Charles return will just open the door for your return. Even though he�s only scheduled for 3 weeks, I think this is going to be the thing that will make TPTB wake up and smell the coffee! :)
