Subject: Do I even want to be saved?

This is a new feeling for me
It's never gone this far before
It's just like I can't breathe
Wrapped a pillow around my face
And I'm lying on the floor
(But I'm not)

The tears won't stop
I wonder why they're there
Not like anyone who saw them
(Those salt drops of pain)
Would ever pause to care

Frantically my mind searches
Through drawers, cupboards, house
Isn't there anything easy and painless

To rip this beating heart out?

Gasping again for breath
More like I'm grasping for hope
I can't stop, but I can't begin
There is no living way to cope
