Overall a well written piece, I found the use of bracketed
thoughts interesting.

I would disagree with, "There is no living way to cope"
writing this as, "there appears to be no living way to cope" or something to that effect might be more credible,
as there is always a way out.

The last few lines "Twinkle Twinkle ect" I believe that
you could have written something of your own here which
could perhaps strengthen the ending of this piece.

any how, that's just my opinion for what it's worth :)
