Well, I'm probably not in the best position to recommend right now, as I'm currently slogging incredibly slowly through Atlas Shrugged. Sorry if you liked it. I do not. At about page 50, I wanted to go up to Ayn Rand and say, "I get it! Oh my gosh!! I GET IT!!! Stop hitting me with your sledgehammer!"

Anyway.

My parents have been enjoying Spook, by Mary Roach. She also wrote one called Stiff. I have read neither of them, though I'm told I'd enjoy them. They're non-fiction. The first one is about dead bodies. I think maybe about funeral customs? I'm not sure. The second one, Spook, is about beliefs about the afterlife. Apparently they're both quite funny as well as informative, so if you're up for it, I'd give them a go.

Continuing along with non-fiction, I read The Devil in the White City not too long ago. So interesting! It's about the Chicago World's Fair in the 1890s. More specifically, it's about the men who created it (architects, city planners), and the serial killer who stalked it. It's a history book that reads like a novel. I thought it was gonna be all creepy, what with the serial killer and all, but its main focus is the buildings. Which I then thought was gonna be boring, but seriously, a very interesting read.

That's it from me. Atlas Shrugged is sucking my brain and I can't think of any other books right now...
