You made me happy when I got your cute Christmas card. Yes, that was a long time ago, but I forgot to comment on it. ;-)

Anything fun? I'm watching 24 with Joe, and that's fun.

I just read "The Proper Care and Feeding of Husbands". Let me say, I'm not a big Dr. Laura fan. She irritates me with her patronizing voice. However, it is a VERY good book that reminded me mostly of things I already knew, but helped me to feel happier about my life and my wonderful husband. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to inject their marriage with more happiness and satisfaction.

If I were really organized, I would do this for wedding gifts: give a card to the couple that says "Congrats...blah blah blah...in 3 years or when you have your first child (whichever comes first) you will recieve a book in the mail. Consider it a late or future wedding gift. I hope you both enjoy." Then, I would mail them that book (Care and Feeding of Husbands). Just because I think it is really good, and every wife could use it's motivation, and--during my first couple years of marraige I don't think it would have had such meaning to me, now that I've had more experience, etc.

What a tangent.

Really, I just meant to say that Jess cheers me up too.
