And isn't it wierd how you can name boys after their fathers, but not girls after their mothers? Not that I want to anyway--but it is so hypocritical.

If we had a boy, I think he'd also be a Joe (Joseph) because there is a long chain of Joe Plicka's from father-to-son in his family. I think we'd name him Joseph Samuel Plicka, and then call him Samuel, Sammy, and Sam.

I picked out the name Ruby about 6 years ago while listening to David B. Haight talk about his wife Ruby at general confrence. He talked about her a lot, and I remember thinking about how sweet that was--and then thinking about what a sweet lady she must be, and then thinking that it was a darling name for a little girl, and then an beautiful woman, and finally and old lady. But, I think it is also kind of making a come-back. I wonder if other people thought the same thing as me, because of David B Haight?
