Interesting story...
I have a friend named Maxie. She just had a little girl last year and they named her Maxie. Her mom's name is Maxie and apparently it goes back several generations. And they all go by Maxie.
Just thought I'd share. Don't think I'd ever actually do something like that but how could you break tradition if it went back generations!?
Nathan won't do the named after him thing either. I've always loved the name Natalie. He thinks it's too close to Nathan but I think he is liking it more.
I love the old fashioned names, Hazel, Ruby, etc. We have thought about naming the baby Zina after his grandma but more likely use it as a middle name.
