That is one good thing about living in Utah. Except here we have the other extreme: conservatives who are stupid because they're SO radical. But even they don't bother me as much as fake Republicans who are secretly liberals and get re-elected because they LIE to constituents about their views and people don't bother to look at their voting records. I say, if you're a liberal who believes in abortion, gay rights and gun control then please have the decency and self respect to run as a Democrat!! (This issue hits close to home since I have to deal with it in my job every day.) So back to your problem, I think you need to tell Dave he has to take a job in DC, or some other city where you can live in a suburb that is more normal and more conservative. What do you think? The West is also very nice. But you'd have similar problems in California, I'm afraid. Have you noticed the last several presidential elections how both coasts go for the Democrat and the ENTIRE middle of the country is Republican? What a strange time we live in. I really do wish all those liberals who think Bush is the devil would move to France. Michael Moore could lead the pilgrimage. Then our country could get back to business and civil political discourse. I have no problem with Democrats who have different views--but when they become so blasted vitriolic in their hatred then I have a problem. So if all the rabid Bush-haters moved to France then maybe that country would be so evil they'd be destroyed like Sodom and Gomorra . . . okay, now you all probably think I'm the one who needs therapy!!
