Well, here's just another example of no need for fansubs anymore. The only real justification left for fasubbing is to do old series that won't get picked up. Rose of Versailles seems to be the favorite example, since all the fans just know that it'll never get picked up. But, ADV has stated at a con that they are looking into older series, and mentioned Rose of Versaille as a possibility. So there's really no anime that won't have a chance to get picked up anymore.

Just like the fans believe Rose of Versaille will never get picked up, when it's been looked at. I wouldn't put too much trust in the fans' assumptions on Kodocha either.
