I have never heard any of your suggestions, so I shall just pull song names out of my arse.
Throwaway suggestions: There's NIN's "The Becoming", but that's a bit long. There's "Ghost of Stephen Foster" by Squirrel Nut Zippers (nothing to do with robots, it'd just be cool to do a video to).
Umm...then there's E Nomine tracks. You've probably never heard of 'em. They're techno-ish (not sure exactly what you'd call them). You could probably do something to the robot theme to any one of their tracks, really. (If you've never heard any of their stuff, and you actually care, lemme know and I can hook you up.)
