There are going to be several Masquerade improvements this year, actually.

1) The contestants themselves won't be seated in the masquerade room (so they don't have to take up about a third of the available audience space), unlike any previous year.

2) There will be an actual green room where the contestants will line up, and they'll return to the green room after the performance -- and the green room will be wired, so that they can see the other entries (again, unlike any previous year). But the most dramatic change from ACens past is:

3) There's going to be a Masquerade replay on Sunday in one of the video rooms! So if you want to go watch Daniel's video subbing (or if you have to work staff somewhere else), you can go see the masquerade as videotaped (and probably get a MUCH better view of the action to boot). And you won't have to get in line four hours ahead of time!

If I wasn't going to be likely heading the video department during the masquerade itself and giving a costuming presentation Sunday during approximately the same time slot, I'd be there at least at the rerun, but I think this year I'm stuck being completely masqueradeless...
