Simon continued to the next tree, scanning again. This time a light in the distance caught his eye. He hopped down from the tree to get a better look. A tiny scared animal rushed past simon, running in the oposite direction. Some wild chattering noises could be heard from Simon's backpack.

"What is it Gus, what's happening??"

Then it hit him, the smell of smoke from burning trees. He looked over to where the light was, seeing it had grown into a wall of orange and red fire. He was breathless, watching in terror as the blaze consumed the trees. A few more animals scattered for safety while a much larger animal attempted to follow but had already caught fire. The bear-like creature fell to the ground, making one last growl before it stopped, lifeless. Simon dropped to his knees, watching the fires grow, realizing they would be burning for a very long time destroying anything in their path. Including..... Simon's house! He turned to Kyle, ready to rush back.

"I need to warn the others to get out of the house. Don't even try to mess with these fires. They aren't stopping!"
