"A Pokémon trainer, Lucca??"
Tseng sat behind the massive black desk in the huge office, with the only lights coming from the glow of the city outside (Tseng wsn't sure which city, and didn't care enough to check), a few sconces along the walls, and a pair of torchiere lamps on either side of the desk. Lucca sat in one of the leather chairs arrayed in front.
"Yep." Lucca anticipated resistance on the President's part--but she was confident that this was the right decision, and she was going to stand her ground on this one.
"Why??"
"Consider it...an experiment," she explained, recalling the litle "encounter" she and Washu had had in the Arena. "My previous..."experience" with the little things has demonstrated that they can be very efective in combat--"
"An 'experience' which resulted in your defeat, if I remember correctly." Tseng teased, a smirk appearing on his face."
*Sweatdrop* "Do you HAVE to keep rubbing it in?!...Still, they proved very effective--*sigh* even IF they wern't enough to change the overall outcome. In addition, I have observed Natsume in action in her own dimension, where he performance was most impressive. Plus, unlike magic and psionics, there are very few things which can detect Pokémon before they're used--"
"All right, all right--you seem confident about this.
Well, we'll find out soon enough. And the others appear equally impresive....very well. He pressed a putton on his desk, opening the door and bidding them to come in, and motioning for them to sit down.
"I trust none of you had any difficulty getting here? I an Tseng, President, Chief Executive Officer, and Co-Founder of AniDinensional, Inc. Over here is Lucca--Vice President of Research & Development, and the other Co-Founder. Now--if you'd be so kind as to tell us a little about yourselves, we'll fill you in on just what we do here..and what YOU will be doing here..."
