"Alright, I think we've got something here..."
Lucca brought the data on the "Big Board," the large holographic projection screen in the center of the huge, ampitheater-shaped control room.
"At the exact moment we initiated the transfer, we picked anohter energy pattern from the same diension, same geeral area--different frequency, thought. Apparently it was some sort of temporal disturbance. The two sidnals converged--then nothing.
"Infinitum again?", Ness asked.
"No, I don't think so--the pattern's all wrong. For the mot part, Infunitum uses cross-dimensional transfer, same as us." He paused, adjusting her glasses as was her habit.
"I think there are time travellers we're dealing with--apparently, with all th diturbances we made during the battle with Heather, we've significantly changed this timeline's future...enough that they eventually acquired time travel." After all, they'd made so many waves that the timeline actually split into two. Who knew what chaos this would wreak later on?...
Sudden;y, th scren in front of them started to crackle and distort, a burst of static coing through the speakers. A few indistinct words could be heard..."
Lucca qurikly backtracked the signal. "Same source as the earlier inteference...Ness!! Try and amplify the signal! I think it mught be them trying to reach us..."
