      • OOC: You know it's a lot easier if you type your whole message in the subject. It saves time from trying to hit the back button and reload the page. BIC: A female human of 18 walks over to the ledge where the two had just dissapeared. Feeling curious she slid down the rope after them. Once in the entrance she loosened her sword from her sheath so it would come out easier. Then pulling an unlit torch from a pack on her back she knelt down and struck flint to tinder.       • Halden peered over his shoulder at sap, he could hardly see sap's face. "yep, pretty dark." he could still see with the light from the opening, he started forward toward where the cave opened into a larger room that the only other exit was a smooth slippery slide like rock. it turned quickly so he couldn't see far. "well this is as far as I have gone." he stated almost comically to sap. behind sap he could have sworn he saw a flickering light like a fire play across the stone wall. it just must have been a cloud making way for the sun so it could shine more into the cave. -- Ellendil, 14:42:08 02/03/04 Tue

• Halden saw the lantern come into view. obviously the person wasn't friendly sneeking up on them like that. he lunged forward hiting the dark figure in the middle causing them both to fall to the cold stone floor and scattering the things they were carrying across the floor. halden then felt a fist come in contact with the side of his face. then something hit him in his stomach lanching him against the far stone wall. shaking his head halden tried to reorient himself. the light was out so he couldn't tell what was happening untill his eyes adjusted. reaching for his sword he found it had fallen out of his scabard. • the fight had begun. The torch had gone out. He could hear scuffling. He focused on the sound. "Darn it." he grunted. "I suggest you all stop rolling around on the ground, because I have a dagger, and am an excellent shot. However, I can't see. I CAN hear you. I hate to throw my daggers because I am just as likely to hit someone I don't want to hit as someone I would like to hit. Therefore, I suggest we all take it easy for a second." • "Whatever." Sap said incredulously pulling three small torches out of his pack and lighting them. He kept his eyes focused on the sound of her voice. OOC: Ellendil just liked the irony of that remark about you being a guy since she's such a tough fighter. BIC: "It's not many people that can fight silently. That is quite a talent...IF you have it." • Haaden stood up and brushed herself. She then adjusted the pack on her back and using the light from Sap's torches she bent down to retrieve her own torch and several other items that had fallen out of her bag in the struggle. (NT) -- Haaden, 14:48:52 02/09/04 Mon

• Haaden took Sap up on his offer and lit her torch. Noticing Sap's wary stare she said "There's no need to be so cautious. I didn't know who was down here. I saw your rope and actually thought there might be goblins or something." Haaden smiled with a shrug. (NT) -- Haaden, 18:57:51 02/09/04 Mon
• Sap began to relax. He gave his torches one juggle before blowing them out. "Goblins, eh? Well, I'm not a goblin but I guess I AM something." He struck a comical pose and bowed deeply to her.
