halden winced as the salve was rubed on his hands then barely stopped himself pressing his hands against his pants once haaden was through with them. halden looped off his small side pack thingy and dug into it tenitively. finding a kerchiff thingy he ripped it in two and tried to tie it around his hands one handed. it wasn't working well. to stall for time halden motioned toward the cliff. Haaden looked up at the rope "It's tied to a tree, I don't think there's much hope for getting it down. It's too thick to throw something sharp at. Oh, just leave it." she said. Then turning back to Halden continued "Here let me help you with your hands," before he could protest (if he was even going to) she strode over to him and, taking the hankerchiefs from him, began to wrap it around his hands as gently as she could.
