I also hope poor old andy rigsdale is ok, your Jesus centres having nothing to with this andy stayed as he was frigtened of eternal damnation, and when he did try to escape he was brought back, for his safety the ja said, stop trying to wriggle out of you responsibilities ja, come the day of judgement, there will be a reckoning and you will pay in heavy coin for your sins.

>>Andy did indeed ask the second time for train fare,
>>but this was refused, and don't forget people in ja
>>housing get housing benefits as well, he rent is
>>around £90 a week at the ja now, so housing benfit and
>>unemoynent benefit would cover this and more.
>
>Erm, the JA actually don't get housing benefit, you
>should do some research. So no, it wouldn't cover it.
>Cant comment on Andy being refused train fare - I
>wasn't, nor was I refused a car when I went to see my
>parents.

>>Yes andy stole a car twice out of sheer desperation,
>>he was a prisoner as he couldn't even get on a bus.

>All he had to do was walk down the drive and leave -
>he wasn't handcuffed to a bed. I don't recollect Andy
>coming into the JA with a pocket full of tenners - to
>be honest, I think they did as well by him as they
>could and were rewarded by repeated theft.
>
>>The ja make millions a year out if their business
>>interests, had it seems plenty of food coming from
>>marks and Spencers, so it's hardly as though the ja is
>>short money wise, and Christian duty says you should
>>help others, expecting no reward like barbara did.
>
>The JA do help others - the Jesus centres in
>Northampton, London & Coventry do cost a significant
>amount to run. Money earned from community business is
>plowed back into growing the church. Anyone can see
>the results of the various limited companies and
>trusts operated by the JA. It's far from clandestine.
>
>>Yes andy stole, but he was a victim of the most
>>appaling bullying, and he went back he second time,
>>being promised it wouldn't happen again, it's a
>>typical ja response to say yes there will be problems
>>with lots of you g lads under one roof, maybe you
>>should not do this, what a cop out ja, and you know
>it.
>
>No one forced Andy to come back - like I say, I wasn't
>aware of the bullying and, whevener I saw Andy he
>seemed happy enough. Like I say, I hope he is well.
