Peter - im my original postings many many months [perhaps years ago] I said that I had heard this. I of course never agreed either with the content nor the sentiment.

Not everyone who leaves the JA is destined for a non-Christian life however I suppose the law of averages dictates that many are. If [as JA members to] the bible is to believed [in 2 Peter, dog returning to his vomit and alike] then the natural end of that would be casting off salvation.

Now, I know you're a self professed non-believer but from a Christian perspective then harsh facts would be ultimately a one way ticket to hell.

I think the primary irk you and others have about this "if you leave you'll go to hell comment" is that it has been alluded if you leave the JA you go to hell. Now, I have not heard that - for instance, I've not heard "..... if you leave the JA and go to Harpole Baptist Church you'll go to hell".

There is a difference :)
