That isn't going to happen. Noel has not been the driving force for quite some time.

I am not even certain it is a good idea for the sect to break up, as many people are very dependent on it. It does have to be conceded too that people choose to join it and belong to it, and that is their entitlement, surely?

The only reason it would be desireable for the sect to break up is for the sake of those people caught up in it who are its victims....and for their sake it would be more sensible to hope that the sect changes for the better under new leadership instead of disintegrating.

I don't hold out much hope of it changing for the better. If anything, I fear a reversion to its more cultic days....but if that happens, I think a schism is more likely...

.....perhaps with central zion community households going to one extreme and more outlaying households and non-community people going the other. The fact is that the church is far more worldly and woolly than it was in its early days and there are a lot of people from the old days who will not want to follow centralist apostles back into those old extremes.
