The points you've missed:
1) The point of this board is not to find solutions to problems. It is to shout loudly about how much we hate those problems.
2) There is no lack of "the"s out there. They flourish in abundance and are free for all to use.
3) The morons who don't use "The" in front of "Faire" have now become firmly entrenched in the belief that they are right not to use "the" in front of "faire", and in fact use it like a code word to ferret out the other brain dead among them (this is similar to gay-dar).
4) The people who don't use "the" in front of "faire" are morons, and we hate them.

No.. "Going to faire" means "I'm a big nerdy geek with no life,. look at me, look at me! Why don't I just say M'lord after every sentence as well, cause I am a loser and have to live in my own little fantasy land where I am cool,.. cool,.. AT FAIRE, let me put on my GARB and go out to eat in public so I can get more of the attention I am so pathetically desperate for and I can BEG people to ask me if I work AT FAIRE, just so I can cling on to that tiny shred of reflected glory!
