Tämä tuo mieleeni sen ongelman, että millä lailla mielikuvat liittyvät kieleen. Ymmärrän toki, että mielikuvia tulkitaan kielen kautta, mutta toisaalta mielikuvat ovat minusta olemassa ja tulkittavissa ilman kieltä. Oikeastaan luulen, että sisäisistä mielikuvista syntyvät tunteet ja vaikutelmat tulevat ennen kielen ja kiellisen kommunikaation kehitystä. Eli minusta yksilön mielikuvat maailmasta syntyvät alusta lähtien, mutta kielellinen kyky kommunikoida niistä vasta myöhemmin. Tämä taas pistää pohtimaan sitä, että mitä ajatteleminen ja älykkyys esim. on.
