Yes, all concepts are destroyed or being destroyed in these deep experiences and each person's process is unique. It is unwise to compare to any great depth. It is good to know just enough that the process is not scary. Kundalini experiences are very intense and most sadhaks testify they resist them only to realize later what was happening. Later on they get subtler. Same with Om sounds.

Yukteswarji said leave some mysteries to discover in eternity. Yogananda says here is no absolute in relativity and each romance with God is unique.

The optimal situation is to be in close contact with the guru who can advise the very next step in the sadhak's evolution. My guru is Yoganandaji so this is not an option. Still, all will come right with earnest sadhana.

It appears there is nothing one can do to make the shift to Nirvikalpa except keep on with sadhana. The last shift happens by grace. Since the atman drew maya over itself and became a individualized soul, it's grace is needed to become liberated. Who only knows when it will happen. You never know. It may be very soon.

Yogananda testifies that the ultimate state is one of ever new joy, and there is no end to it--it goes on expanding endlessly. He tells Mr. Lynn repeatedly in the SRF book on Lynn's life to never think any state is the end and to keep on expanding for eternity.

Yogananda discusses the difference of a jivanmukta and a siddha. He addresses this in his Gita. Is there any talk in the other lineages of a siddha? The term is seldom mentioned. Mostly in yoga schools they talk of jivanmukta or videhamukta. I have never seen Lahiri mention siddha or avatar, only Jivanmukta. I hope someone from another kriya line comments.

Since the end state is ever expanding, we have but to remain in beginners mind and keep on with kriya and expand, no matter what out present state. Because of this some Zen roshis say to do zazen IS enlightenment. So to do kriya perhaps is also enlightenment. This is all that needs to be done!

Pranams to all kriyabans
