Subject: Avatar Myth Debunked

Yogananda specifically states in the AY that an avatar casts no shadow and leaves no footprints.

On page 345 (the original)there is an indesputable shadow, as well as on pages 386, 458 and 468. Case closed.

I guess he was just a great man who became a great yogi and and achieved a high spiritual state. Ho hum, I guess all hope is lost.

Also, in the AY we hear of Yukteswar's friend who died and was brought back to life by Lahiri's neem oil. In Satyanada's biography of Lahiri the same story is told and the man never died.
