yamas and Niyamas help control reactions that arise, but the seed of causality remains.

Mind is not found only in the brain, but thoughout the entire body, mainly along the spine. Kriya pranayama goes a long way to uncover and cleanse the deep buried conditionings that react to outer stimulus often in the form of defense mechanisms which is the self protective mechanism of the ego.
