I'm not sure why you want to know these things. I have never claimed any special knowledge or experience which sets my opinions as more important than anyone else's. I doubt that anyone's opinions are greatly influenced by anything I write, and I have never considered myself as a "satsang leader" - whatever that is.

At the present time I have some family problems which mean that I do not wish to give out too many details. This is not for secrecy or to hide anything, just to respect someone else's privacy.

I am not, and have never been a monastic in any tradition.

I started this board a few years ago as it seemed to me there was a need for a board which allowed for a range of discussion about the issues in the kriya world. At that time a few other boards which served a similar purpose had been closed (e.g. there was a messageboard called The Yogananda Board of Free Spirit which had earlier closed). Also, I enjoy a lively debate sometimes, and other boards were either heavily moderated "inspirational" places, or unmoderated and being abused (e.g. Alt.Yogananda).

I do live in the UK, but I am hoping to relocate somewhere warmer (possibly the Canary Islands) when some ongoing problems have been resolved.

Yes I am an SRF member, for about 25 years. My name is not Kerin. I worked in the telecomms industry until I had to give up work a few years ago for reasons I do not wish to go into.

Ketch was simply a nickname I had in my schooldays. There is no significance to any numbers at the end.

Once again, I do not have any special knowledge or experience. I try to moderate this board in a fair manner, but obviously not everyone agrees with the way it is run. Being the moderator of this board does not make my opinions any more significant that anyone else's.
