According to Peggy Deitz, she gave Kriya to individuals at Yogananda's request. According to Walters, he gave Kriya to individuals at Yogananda's request. According to Roy Davis, he gave Kriya to individuals at Yogananda's request. All three continue(d) to do so after Yogananda's passing.

This is in keeping with the Kriya Yoga tradition of Lahiri Mahasaya and all the ensuing lineages. I believe this principle is important. It's called spiritual tradition, and is also our Kriya tradition.

If someone on this board wanted, on their own, to give Kriya, then they could. Would it have power? I doubt it. But if Yogananda, Babaji, Lahiri, etc. told them to and empowered them to- then it would have power. I have met Kriyabans of other lineages who had discernable power and results. This proves the principle, enough for me.

P.S. Every post I make here, you or nojdw responds with Ananda this, Walters that. Even when I post something that can't be remotely connected to Ananda/Walters. I respect your right to discuss Ananda/Walters here ad infinitum. I'm not interested in discussing this with you- it's obvious emotions have gotten the better of people on this (on both sides). The principles, however, remain important. Far more than the individuals.
