Yes, I would surely recommend Mejda.

For some reason (because it was written by a relative of our Master and printed in India?), there are a lot of unfiltered, unvarnished, and very interesting stories about Yoganandaji as a boy. It gives you a very different image of our Guru than what you might be used to.

Yes, that quote is open to interpretation, as I said. I do believe that because Yogananda began the quote with "while practicing Kriya", that he is clearly tying Kriya and Kechari together. And because he also told some disciples to practice Kriya with Kechari, and referred to it in the Kriya lessons, I'll stick with my interpretation. Though I agree that's all it really is.

I do want to say, Shivanath, us guys don't feel merely divinely inspired, like, whatever, to do Kriya with Kechari..... We're doing it because our blessed Guru clearly encouraged some disciples to do Kriya with Kechari. AND because (speaking for myself) we feel the extreme pleasure and blessing of our Guru while doing Kriya with Kechari.

For that reason alone I heartily encourage others to at least consider the practice, without making it into a dogma.....
