I have not said that the point is proven either way. You however seem to believe that because the issue is not proven therefore the signature must be a forgery. In other words SRF must be guilty unless proven innocent.

I stand by what I wrote in this post including the comments about the signature in Treasures Against Time. There was also a suggestion made on this board that a signature in one of J D Walters books contains the additional letter, unfortunately no-one had a scanner to show us all the signature in question.

Until I see a real, not-copied-or-forged, signature with the 'a', I will believe Thomas and others.

That is of course your right, although I think that Thomas would be the first to admit that he has no special knowledge in this regard.

If you ask SRF about the signature you will be told that P.Y. did on occasion sign his name with the additional A. Again, if you wish to believe that the SRF monastics are lying about this it is your right, but do not try to pretend that it is a proven fact. It is not, and the "preponderance of the evidence" which you refer to simply does not exist.
