A further thought. When the nectar is secreted it does not drip down the gullet immediately from the pituitary but rather makes its way first to the uvula and then drips off it. This is probably why it is sufficient to place the tip of tongue to the uvula if one cannot place it far enough back to touch the semi-permeable skin membrane covering the pituitary as in full Kechari.
